Modern Monty is a family business that originated from humble beginnings, handcrafting wooden teethers, toys, and baby gyms in a garage in Peregian Beach, Queensland, Australia. Still on the Sunshine Coast, over time, we have evolved into creators of boutique, educational toys, flash cards, puzzles, and games.
Our commitment to creating products that foster a deep connection with the natural world stems from our belief in the importance of children learning about and appreciating nature from a young age. We strive to nurture little conservationists while supporting the development of problem-solving, strategy, early literacy and numeracy, social and communication skills, and more.
Collaborating closely with Australian artist and friend, Amanda Borchers, has been instrumental in shaping our current range. Amanda's stunning watercolour art captures the spirit of the wild, adding a special touch to each product.
At Modern Monty, we prioritise sustainability. Our manufacturers are FSC certified, operating in an environmentally, economically, and socially responsible manner. We endeavour to use natural and organic materials whenever possible, and we take pride in offering a range of single-use plastic-free, earth-friendly products, with many items crafted from recycled cardboard.
